Fire Awareness at Work
This qualification is intended for employees that are required to undertake training in fire awareness at work. The qualification has been developed to meet the training requirements outlined in best practice guidance.

This qualification will provide learners with the skills, knowledge and understanding to support an individual’s awareness of fire in the workplace, which can complement their skillset in employment.
This course is regulated by QNUK, one of the most recognised Awarding Bodies within the first aid sector. By undertaking regulated training, this removes the need for employers to complete due diligence on the course.
Learners will be taught the following:

To be able to understand the hazards and risks associated with fire in the workplace

To know how to use a range of fire controls

To be able to understand the importance of a prompt and safe evacuation of the workplace
