Terms & Conditions

1. Bookings may be made by website, e-mail, text or telephone, by booking a course with Grow Safety Training it is assumed that you accept these Terms and Conditions.​​

2. Course fee payments can be made online via our website or bank transfers can be made.

 

 

3. All payments need to be made upfront. A booking is not confirmed until payment is made.

 

 

4. Course fees include tuition, supporting manuals, e-learning on selected courses, assessment, and certification. All other costs such as travel, lunch and accommodation are the responsibility of the student.

 

 

5a. Cancellation/ Postponement Fee.

More than 14 days from the start of the course date - 100%*

7-14 days before the course start day - 50%*

Less than 7 days before the course start day - No refund. This includes students who fail to attend the course.

 

 

* IMPORTANT: All refunds are minus any payment processing costs that are incurred by Grow Safety Training.

 

You may transfer to another of our courses or an alternative date at any point up to 2 weeks prior to the course date. Less than 2 weeks in advance you will be charged an administrative fee of £30.

6. If you arrive late for a course (more than 30 minutes), or are absent from any session, we reserve the right to refuse to accept you for training if we feel you will gain insufficient knowledge or skill in the time remaining. In all such cases, the full course fee remains payable. (To conform with Health & Safety Executive requirements for Statutory Certificates, attendance at all sessions is mandatory.)

 

 

7. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that the course is suitable for their requirements. Grow Safety Training can offer advice but accept no liability in the event of the course content not meeting the student’s requirements.

 

 

8.Grow Safety Training reserves the right to reschedule or cancel any of its courses – but guarantees to only do this in exceptional circumstances where due reason exists. Should we cancel a course, every effort will be made to rebook you onto a mutually convenient alternative course OR refund your course fee.

 

 

9.Grow Safety Training reserves the right to alter advertised course venues and trainers. Where a change of venue takes place, all delegates will be informed as soon as practicable, but no less than 24 hrs prior to the course start time.

 

 

10.. Students are required at all times to observe and abide by all policies regarding health and safety, security, suitable conduct and behaviour and any other regulations set out by Grow Safety Training

 

 

11. If a student breaches any codes of conduct or suitable behaviour whilst attending a course or during the booking process, Grow Safety Training reserves the right to remove the student from the course or decline the student’s booking. In the event of a student being removed from a training course, no refund or remuneration will be made.

 

 

12. By necessity, First Aid qualifications require the student to be assessed performing practical tasks such as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. To pass the assessment the student must demonstrate the required practical skills. Grow Safety Training is able to offer reasonable adjustments in certain circumstances. Should you have any questions regarding this then please contact us.

 

 

13. Grow Safety Training welcomes in advance, for preparation purposes, notification of any assistance that a student is likely to need during the running of the course.

 

 

14. If it is felt that the student doesn’t meet the learning outcomes of the course and or assessment process and is referred, they will be offered a re - assessment which may be chargeable.

 

 

15. Further training or coaching over and above that provided on the course will be chargeable.

 

 

16. Certificates are posted within 2-3 weeks of the course date. Any claims for non-arrival of certificate must be made in writing within 6 weeks of the course date. Any claims made after this time will be subject to the same charges as for copy certificates.

 

 

17. Requests for copy certificates must be made in writing are subject to an administration fee of £5 each for non- Ofqual accredited courses and £10 each for accredited courses.

 

 

18. If a client is unsatisfied with any of the training provided during the course programme, they should contact Grow Safety Training as soon as possible to register their complaint. All complaints or enquiries of this nature are investigated, managed and resolved in line with Grow Safety Training’s Appeals & Complaints Policy.
